Tech Tuesday: My Setup 

As I mentioned in the introductory post, I may veer a bit off topic at times on this site if there’s something that particularly interests me. I’m a sucker for gadgets and technology, for example, so don’t be tremendously shocked if I pull out the odd review or opinion piece. Don’t worry, though; hockey will still dominate the front page.

The Mailbag: August 7th 

I haven’t actually picked a date where this site’s mailbag will regularly take place. Monday is what I’m used to, and it seems like that’s what a lot of people do; partially because it’s easy content to do after coming back from a slower-paced weekend, and partially because of the alliteration in the title.

Where the Leafs stand with Connor Brown 

It wouldn’t be a Leafs offseason without a contract panic, would it? They don’t even have to necessarily make sense; they just have to exist. Last year, it was that Auston Matthews took longer than usual to sign his entry-level contract, complete with proven-to-be-unfounded speculation about his signing bonuses.

This year, it’s Connor Brown, if only because he’s the last player in the organization waiting for a deal, weeks after everybody else had their negotiations settled. Back To Where We Started From 

First and foremost, thank you to the many followers and readers who believed that a career switch up meant that I was poached by a major player and apologies to any hockey team or media outlet that was linked to me by said group of excited people.
