Sometimes, when the whistles get put away, things don’t go your way. Unfortunately for the Toronto Marlies, a chippy third period that was allowed to be decided by the players towards its conclusion went in favour of the Cleveland Monsters in it’s dying breaths, setting their divisional opponents up to pull off a come from behind victory. While Toronto’s losing streak is snapped, they did continue a streak of picking up points on Sunday night.
